The Liberty in Romford has welcomed new openings from 80s Casual Classics, Lovisa, and Miniso.

80s Casual Classics, a retailer specialising in retro sportswear and nostalgic fashion from heritage brands like Sergio Tacchini, Fila Vintage, and Adidas Originals, has opened its southern flagship store at the centre.

Lovisa, a global jewellery and accessories retailer, has launched a 915 sq ft store offering a range of necklaces, earrings, rings, and in-store piercing services.

Miniso, following a pop-up in December 2024, has opened a 2,270 sq ft permanent location featuring collectable products and everyday essentials.

Neil Primett, founder and managing director at 80s Casual Classics, added: “Greatly anticipated across our customer base, we had high standards when looking for our first-ever store in the south.

“With its quality of tenant mix and proximity to central London, The Liberty Romford meets those expectations.

“Opening our southern flagship is a major milestone for 80s Casual Classics, we have had great success in the north and are certain the south will be an immediate success.”

The openings come as Redical, the real estate owner and operator of The Liberty Romford, continues to invest in the centre’s growth.

The company recently appointed Louise Boorman as tenant liaison manager to strengthen operational and brand management.
