As Wimbledon airs daily on BBC One, the soap has fallen victim to airing at a different time – but will now be pulled from schedules altogether.
It means that last night’s episode (July 1) will be the last until next Wednesday, July 9, with that episode airing at a different time.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the changes next week.
When is EastEnders next on TV?
All of this week’s episodes have already aired – with no new editions until next week now.
Next week:
Monday, July 7 – No episode
Tuesday, July 8 – No episode
Wednesday, July 9 – Two episodes – one at 8pm and another at 8.30pm
Thursday, July 10 – One episode at 7pm
Friday, July 11 – One episode at 7pm
Today (July 2) also marks the last new episodes of Emmerdale and Coronation Street for this week.
Why are Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale changing schedules?
Wimbledon and a UEFA Women’s Euros match are the cause of the TV changes.
And because of the UEFA women’s matches, Corrie fans won’t see their next episode until Thursday, July 10 at 9pm.
It comes as earlier this week it was revealed that both Coronation Street and Emmerdale will now be available to watch on YouTube at 7am every morning, the same time as their ITVX release.
What have fans said about schedule changes?
Dedicated fans are annoyed that they won’t be able to get their soap fix for some days.
