Officers from the Metropolitan Police were alerted to the crash in London Road at 9.30pm on December 13.
London Ambulance Service paramedics were also dispatched to the scene where they discovered two pedestrians injured.
One of the pedestrians, a teenage girl, was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Her injuries are not believed to be serious.
The other pedestrian did not require hospital treatment and the driver of the car stopped at the scene.
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
